Process
From pitch to shelf. And what that shelf taught us.
Stage 1: Opportunity. The milestone was real. The standard approach — flat social graphic, stat overlay, brand colours — would have been forgettable. We saw an opening for something that matched the weight of the number.
Stage 2: Foundation. Glass typography workflow as the technical starting point, then rebuilt to fit brand guidelines. Loop structure prioritised for sustained engagement across platforms.
Stage 3: Material and motion. Lighting design and glass material properties calibrated to balance visual impact with brand restraint. Animation timing tuned for social attention spans. The loop designed to feel seamless, not repetitive.
Stage 4: Scope collision. Revision requests compounded with render-intensive production. The delivery path became unsustainable. Project shelved. Lessons absorbed.
Outcome
Shelved, not wasted.
Project Status: Shelved. Creative capability proven. Process insight earned: realistic timeline setting for complex 3D work is non-negotiable, and that conversation happens before production, not during it.
