Overview
New tool. Same instincts. Three days flat.
BNB Chain needed a futuristic coliseum visual for a Twitter debate campaign. The catch: the brief called for 3D, and Blender was not yet in the toolkit.
Three days. From zero Blender experience to a shipped HUD-style environment that matched the campaign's tone and the client's brand standards. No extensions requested. No corners visibly cut.
The project became a proof point for something the studio had always believed: the tool is not the skill. Spatial thinking, composition, and visual problem-solving transfer across software. Blender was new. The design instincts were not.
Role
3D environment design on a learning curve measured in hours, not weeks.
Process
Learn the tool. Build the world. Ship the campaign. In that order.
Day 1: Orientation. Blender's interface, navigation, and core modelling workflows. No tutorials for the sake of tutorials. Every learning hour pointed at the specific environment the brief required.
Day 2: Construction. Coliseum geometry, HUD overlay elements, lighting setup. The futuristic aesthetic was built through hard surface modelling and emissive material work rather than post-production effects.
Day 3: Polish and delivery. Material refinement, final lighting pass, render, and asset export. Delivered to the client's specifications for their Twitter campaign. No extension requested.

Outcome
Shipped on time. Blender permanently added to the toolkit.
Delivered on time. Visual matched campaign requirements and brand guidelines. Blender capability added permanently to the studio's toolkit.
