Overview
Simple geometry. Considered composition.
Not a client brief. A deliberate exercise in Cinema 4D fundamentals: primitive objects, basic modelling, and scene composition. The subject — a ramen yatai — was chosen because food scenes punish lazy lighting and reward patience with materials.
The geometry stayed simple on purpose. The composition did the heavy lifting. Every object placed with the same spatial thinking applied to client work, just pointed at a different problem.

Learning
Key Learnings
Understanding Cinema 4D's interface, basic modeling workflow, and how individual objects combine to create complete scenes.
Skills Demonstrated
3D navigation and viewport control
Primitive object modeling and modification
Scene organization and hierarchy
Basic materials, lighting, and rendering workflow
Solution
Methodically worked through each tutorial section, building complexity from simple primitives to detailed environmental storytelling.

Outcome
Project Reflections
This tutorial established my Cinema 4D foundation and proved that systematic learning could quickly lead to impressive results. It gave me the confidence to tackle the sushi bar homework and eventually more complex projects.
