🎬 Project Overview
Fintopio launched their revolutionary multi-chain swaps feature, supporting 100+ assets across 30+ chains, positioning themselves as a pioneer in the CeDeFi space. The challenge was communicating this complex technological breakthrough to a crypto-savvy audience while working within the fast-paced constraints of a growing startup with over 2 million active monthly users.
The promotional campaign needed to capture the excitement of seamless cross-chain trading without getting lost in technical jargon. With multi-chain swaps becoming a crucial differentiator in the competitive DeFi wallet space, the stakes were high to create content that would resonate with both crypto newcomers and DeFi veterans.
Working with incomplete UI mockups and an accelerated timeline, I had to become both the motion designer and visual problem-solver, ensuring the final product matched the innovative nature of the feature itself. ⚡ Challenges & Process

Stage 1: Decoding the Innovation
The product team delivered a feature-rich but complex multi-chain swap functionality. My first challenge was understanding how to visually represent the seamless movement of assets across different blockchains without overwhelming the viewer with technical details.
Stage 2: Design Gap Navigation
With UI mockups arriving incomplete or outdated, I made the strategic decision to become a visual translator. Rather than waiting for perfect assets, I enhanced and adapted existing interfaces, ensuring consistency between the actual product and promotional representation.
Stage 3: Visual Metaphor Creation
I developed a visual language that used smooth, interconnected animations to represent the "bridgeless" nature of the swaps. The motion design emphasized speed and simplicity, crucial selling points for users frustrated with traditional cross-chain complexity.
Stage 4:Rapid Iteration Under Pressure
Working with startup velocity meant embracing imperfection and focusing on impact. I created a flexible animation system that could accommodate last-minute changes while maintaining visual coherence, ensuring we met launch deadlines without compromising quality.
