Logo & Typography Animation Collection

Logos sit still until someone proves they shouldn't. This is every logo and typography animation I've built, pulled into one place. Hand-keyed, expression-driven, and frame-tested. The collection grows. The standard doesn't move.

Overview

Every mark has a first move. Most of them are wrong.

A logo animation is not decoration added after the identity ships. It is the first moment a brand exists in time, and getting that moment wrong teaches people to ignore everything that follows. This collection pulls together every logo and typography animation project I have produced: client commissions, internal explorations, and the work that sits between the two. Shape layers, expressions, and compositions built frame by frame in After Effects. What holds the collection together is not the toolset. It is the principle that a mark in motion should feel inevitable, not performed.

Role

Concept through keyframe. Nothing outsourced, nothing inherited.

Every project in this collection was led end to end. Art direction set the intention. Graphic design defined the mark's static identity and the rules it carries into motion. Motion design did the rest: timing, easing, spatial choreography, export pipeline. No handoff between disciplines. The same eye that decided what the mark looks like also decided how it enters a frame, how long it holds, and when it leaves.

Approach

If the type can land without moving, it stays still.

Every piece here lives in After Effects. Shape layers, expressions, frame-by-frame control over every anchor point. The decision to animate was never automatic. Typography animations followed the same filter: if the mark or the letterform communicated everything it needed at rest, motion had no business being there. The ones that move, move because the meaning required it.

Grimvoxel

The studio's own identity system: pixel-grid skull mark, colour architecture, typography, pattern language, and a 33-page grimoire that governs all of it. Eight days. Every element traces back to the same construction logic. The brand designed the way the brand designs.
